The Data Homecabinets DW4HD are designed to accomplish the needs in private flats and private single-or Multi-famils houses.

All incoming Multimedia cables which enter the private flat or house (for Telefony, TV, Audio / Video Intercom Systems, Smart Home Control,...) are guided into the Data Homecabinet and terminated to the corresponding TOOLLESS LINE module, which is clipped into an empty port.

Active devices, like Internet Router, Ethernet Switch, WLAN-Access-Point, Fiber Optic Converter, Smart Home Server, were fixed to the mounting plate of the Data Homecabinet and connected (patched) to the corresponding TOOLLESS LINE module by use of short patchcords (see SCHRACK catalogue Netword Technology K-DATA).

For the different applications, like Internet (ADSL or via cable provider), TV (terrestrical or SAT), Telefony, Audio / Video Intercom Systems, etc. there are different TOOLLESS LINE modules available.

RJ45 (shielded / unschielded, Cat.5e / Cat.6 / Cat.6A 10GB), Koax (F) and Fiber Optic (LC-Duplex, SC-Simplex).

An essential feature of these Data Homecabinets is theri Felxibility, their Modularity and the Combinability with the SCHRACK Power Distribution Homecabinets DW4HE.

Flexibility: The Homecabinets are typically designed for surface mounting. For flush mounting the Combiframes DW4HR are available.

Modulartiy: The Homecabinets are available in 3 heights of 166, 333 and 500mm.

Cabinet width (500mm) and cabinet depth (110mm) are the same in all dimensions.

The dimensions of the Data Homecabinets are exactly the same as with the Power Distribution Homecabinets.

Combinability: A Data Homecabinet and a Power Distribution Homecabinet can be mounted side-by-side (up / down) by use of the baying-kit DW4HZAK1.

Break-out cable entries are provided. Because of the modularity, e.g. a 333mm high Data Homecabinet (DW4HD226) and a 166mm high Power Distribution Homecabinet (DW4HE122) can be connected.

For flush mounting, the 500mm high combiframe (DW4HR3) is used.

Break-out cable entries are available on top, bottom and both sides of the Homecabinets available.

Thus the compositions of larger groups of this Homecabinets series is possible.

Door and mounting plate are made from plastic. Together with the large rear opening, it allows installation of Wireless LAN (WiFi) Routers or Access points and ensure that the air-signal is not blocked.

The mounting plate is offset from the back wall. So devices can be installed on rear of the mounting plate and can not be touched from the front.

For example, a fiber optic splice tray can be mounted in the rear and is protected from direct access.

Internet router, Ethernet switches, etc. are mounted on the front of the mounting plate and thus accessible to the end user for patching.

Mounting of the devices on the plastic mounting plate by means of self-tapping screws (not included) is quick and easy.

The doors of the Homecabinets are raised upward to ensure the necessary bending radius of the patchcords.

Perforation on the sides of the door allows passive cooling of the installed active devices.

Hinged side panels: The side panels on both sides of the Data Homecabinet are hinged and thus allowing quick and easy installation of the terminating connectors (TOOLLESS LINE modules, 230V power sockets).

Empty ports for TOOLLESS LINE modules: The cables brought into the Data Homecabinet are terminated to a SCHRACK TOOLLESS LINE module (form factor SFA or SFB), which is snapped into one of the 8 to 44 empty ports.

Power supply: Opposite to the left set of empty data / multimedia ports, ther are empty ports for 230V AC power sockets on the right side of the Data HOmecabinet.

Depending on cabinet size, there is mounting possibility for 1 - 4 pieces 230V AC outlets.

The number of possible outlets results from the number of 10" opening, optinally equipped with one 10" -PDU with 3 sockets or 3 single sockets and, depending on the cabinet type, an existing additional sinle-socket opening.
